Workers share experiences with delegates (2005)
Our friends at Austin Tan Cerca de la Frontera (ATCF) produce quarterly delegations to the U.S.-Mexico border to meet volunteers with the maquila workers’ group Comité Fronterizo de Obreras (CFO). Delegates meet workers in their homes and neighborhoods and hear about their work in the NAFTA factories and express their concerns for better treatment on issues of wages and working conditions. Departures are from Austin, Texas.
