The  Board of Directors recently approved the creation of a new website page as part of our Resources for Further Study dedicated to a description and highlighting some of the essays and articles produced in the graduate seminar Women, Law and the Changing Global Economy, taught by Emerita professor Elvia Arriola for NIU College of Law in the fall 2022.

Law students addressed patterns of gendered inequality in our changing and interdependent global economy. Topics for discussion or research included the impact of climate change on trade, labor, migration patterns, immigration law and policy and human trafficking as well as the global impact of Supreme Court decisions terminating access by women to reproductive rights.

We are happy to share a link to the new page describing the focus of the seminar and providing access to some of the student papers.
